LANDSCAPES IN FLUX
A KALAGRAPHIC STUDY INTO PADOVA'S RELATIONSHIP WITH ITS WATERSENGLISH | ITALIANO
undertaken by 16 students of Landscape Sciences at the University of Padova
together we traced the waterways of Padova, photographing the landscape using 'kalagraphic' keys to interpret its dynamic qualities
the combination of our collective gaze opened up a plural landscape of surprise and discovery, eliciting new perceptions and reflections
giving rise to a series of individual studies into other discreet fragments of the territory’s broader hydrological landscape
here we present the findings of our research into Padova's relationship with its waters, in the hope they might encourage further considerations and engage others in recognising that these waters represent much more than a mere part of the landscape
